A Week in London, Love Island & Making Friends as an Adult

The weekly round up is a fun one this week! From rooftop breakfasts looking out over London to a Love Island debate, as usual we could not stop chatting. We returned to a list format for the main theme, listing a cosy selection of the things that offer us comfort when we need it. What comforts you? We'd love to know! After such a lovely response to our appearance theme a few episodes ago, we tackled another big topic today... Being liked and caring about what other people think. How do you begin to build a healthy relationship with yourself? This week we discussed appearances, self worth and high school trends (shout out to the Primark flower crown). In our weekly round up we talked solo reading adventures, dreamy pancake stacks and Em's experience going into the office for the first time, eight months into the job. For this week's agony aunt column we answered a question all about the pressure to go to university, and we dived into first date nerves and fun ideas for long term dating.

How do you cope with stress? This week we took to Instagram and asked for topic ideas, and you came through! In this episode we talked all things stress and dealing with overwhelming situations. What would you do if you were in love with your best friend? This week we tackled a juicy agony aunt question that found its way into our inbox. Reuniting With Family, Finding Your Calling & Life in Your Twenties

What does 'finding your calling' really mean, and is it necessarily a good thing? We discussed callings and purposes this week on the podcast, and delved into university dilemmas and questions about life in your twenties for our agony aunt column. In our weekly round up we reported back on our experience with our first pottery class, and reflected on how lovely it is to be able to see family again after a very tough year.

This last week saw Ciara turn 24, and what better way to celebrate than with a birthday episode, reminiscing over our favourite childhood and teenage memories. Recording in Person, a Week of Joy & People We Admire

After six months of 'We're Spinning Plates', we finally recorded in person! May 17th brought new lockdown easing in the UK, which meant we could finally record in Ciara's house and watch Made in Chelsea together, the dream. This week's episode was all about admiration, and we each listed five people that we admire, whether that be authors, podcasters, or people from our personal lives. In our agony aunt column we tackled another 'Dear Dolly' question, and we talked about great books, great food and getting the vaccine in our weekly round up.
