A Perfect Saturday, Almond Croissants & Setting Boundaries Online

It was finally time this week to celebrate our mutual one true love and record a foodie episode! We discussed food memories, our post-lockdown restaurant excitement, and the ideal three course meal. In our weekly round up we talked ear piercings and joining the gym together, and losing motivation when it comes to creativity. Personal Evolution, The First Waterstones Haul & Being Single

We recorded this on Monday, straight after our first post lockdown Waterstones trip, so book hauls were MANDATORY. In our round up we discussed Em's birthday week, our highs and lows, and Taylor Jenkins Reid's upcoming release. Our theme of the week (chosen by Ciara) was personal evolution and changing your mind as you go along. It was a really fun and abstract one to explore! Reaching Out, A Surprise Segment & Starting From Scratch

This week we brought back the weekly highs and lows, as well as introducing a new one-off surprise segment. We talked about sunshine, how to get proof copies of anticipated releases, and Ciara capped off her March running challenge with a success. Our main theme of the week was starting a creative project from scratch (including a run down of our own experiences), and the theme of our agony aunt column this week was mental health. Whether it's reaching out for support, or knowing how best to support a friend, we explored two important questions sent in by you guys.

Sunday Mornings, Traits from Mum & Making the Most of Your Early Twenties

This week Ciara's Mum made an episode request, so we sat down and chatted about the traits we've inherited from our Mums, just in time for Mother's Day in the UK. From cheese boards to nosiness, it was a lot of fun to reflect on those traits. We also discussed the Zalfie news (throwback to being 15 and watching Zoella after school), World Book Day and 'jam and toast' flavoured tea. In our agony aunt section we answered a question from Dolly Alderton's Sunday Times column all about existential crises in your twenties, and we answered a question that one of you sent in about getting stuck into cooking.

Surprise News, Sunshine & Adult Friendships

This episode was a LOT of fun to record. Ciara dropped the best news of 2021 (if not ever?!), and our round up consisted of a hot drink segment, bookish updates and talk of sunshine and the roadmap out of lockdown. Our main theme this week was friendships as an adult; how to make them. the value of intentional friendship, and smaller circles. The agony aunt column delved into romance,  amicable break ups and anxiety surrounding the easing of lockdown.
